Key Functional Highlights
- Array Optimization: Specifically tuned to handle the wider pickup patterns of array microphones, using spatial audio processing to focus on the speaker’s voice while suppressing ambient room noise.
- Self-Healing Network: Utilizes the “Hand-in-Hand-Loop-Network” topology. If one cable in the array chain is disconnected, the controller automatically detects the break and maintains communication with all other units.
- High-Speed Camera Tracking: Features dedicated protocols to trigger PTZ cameras instantly when an array unit is activated, ensuring precise framing even without a physical gooseneck to “aim” at.
- Intelligent Auto-Mix: Automatically manages multiple active array units to prevent phase cancellation and ensures a consistent volume level across the entire PA system.
- Dual-System Backup: Supports hot-standby “Dual-Machine” backup. By connecting two JAD-DCP2000-R units, the secondary controller will automatically take over if the primary unit loses power.
System Integration
This controller is the mandatory backbone for any installation using the JAD-DAC-F (Lifting Array) or JAD-ACC-T (Interpretation Array). It is not recommended for use with standard wireless units; for those, please see the JAD-DCP2000-W.
